*Position : Technical Manager* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: 6+ months * *Interview: Phone and Skype* *Job Responsibilities:* · The position is primarily responsible for acting as the technical team leader and for enhancing the relationship between the client and the vendor. · Perform various development projects through the stages of requirements gathering, product implementation and documentation preparation. · Act as the liaison between the customer and the customer’s chosen delivery partners, managing multiple projects and teams. · Manage a team of 10+ developers. · Provide content guidance in design/build/test activities where required. · Carry out presales demonstration projects, resulting in presenting demonstrations based on customer requirements. · Create solution designs, project plans, estimates and statements of work. · Conduct the overall planning, progress and delivery of the services. · Work closely with the Solutions Delivery Group to ensure that services are designed and built according to standards. *Job Requirement:* *Experience:* · Strong knowledge and experience working with Portal technologies (Self-Care or eCommerce) within the Telco industry. · Excellent customer-facing and communication skills. · 5+ years of experience managing development projects. · Minimum 2 years of experience as a developer/lead developer. · Technical management experience. · Successful experience managing IT projects. · Experience working in telecommunications areas is a plus. · Experience leading similar groups and/or projects (preferably in a Telco). · Proven experience of requirements analysis, project planning, solutions design, software design, development and deployment. *Skills:* · Excellent communication and team building abilities. · Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organizational levels. · Extensive knowledge of J2EE, Java and/or relevant web related technologies. · Knowledge of Oracle or Web Logic a major plus. - UNIX a plus (not required). · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Education:* · Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is a related field. *Ankush Nirala* E-Solutions Inc 2 N.
