*Job Details:* *Job title: **The Architect - Data Warehouse/BI* *Location: Princeton, NJ* *Duration: 6 + months* *Interview: Phone + Face to face required. * *Job Description:* *The Architect - Data Warehouse/BI* must have significant prior experience leading successful data warehousing implementations, including, a broad background and experience with BI solutions. This individual is responsible for establishing the technical architecture and scope for data warehouse/BI effort. This person must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization. *Responsibilities include: * • Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate data warehouse solutions and data needs • Recommend/select data warehouse technologies • Define physical architecture, server and storage, • Design and direct the ETL process, including data quality and testing • Design and implement the logical and physical database structure • Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse • Define metadata standards for the data warehouse • Direct the data warehouse metadata capture and access effort • Define production release requirements • Create documentation and processes for standards and best practice • Willingness to code and play tech lead role • Performance tuning of database and BI components • Create the design of physical and logical data warehouse models identifying data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality • Identify and recommend database performance solutions for slow running code and SQL *• Be on call for data warehouse problems that require immediate resolution Required Skills: * *• BS in computer science with a minimum of 10 years’ experience * *• 7 years’ experience with market leading business intelligence applications * *• 7 years of data modeling experience * *• 7 years of ETL development and architecture experience* • Strong knowledge and proven experience in architecting, designing and implementing large scale advanced enterprise data warehouses • Extensive experience with all phases of Data Warehouse development including prototyping, data modeling, analysis, design, development, data security, ETL processes, and BI • Strong background with relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, stored procedures, etc), database design principles and data administration standards, and information security terminology • Expert database knowledge and SQL skills required - Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL • Must have good understanding of Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling • Data Warehouse design and modeling, Kimball methodology, star schemas, dimensions, & facts *If interested please fill the below details and send me ASAP.* *Full Legal Name* *Current Location* *Availability for interviewing* *Availability to start a new project* *Can take an in person or not* *Expected Pay Rate* *DOB (Day/Month)* *Phone Numbers-Landline and Cell* *Email ID/Skype ID if need be* *Visa Status/ etc..*
