*Position : Main frame programmer / cobol* *Location : Salt Lake City, Utah* *Duration : 12+ Months* *Interview : phone then Skype* Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, documenting and installing programs. Conducts cost evaluations, user needs analysis, in-house system customizations and upgrades, system performance studies, and enhancement recommendations. Responsible for writing and/or supporting computer applications, with close involvement in the installation of vendor releases and enhancements, analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and production implementation system-required modifications. Develops data retrieval and data management systems. May assist training other Mainframe Programmer Analyst. *Qualifications* *Required Skills * Typically requires a Bachelor´s degree and 4 to 8+ years of directly related experience. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
