The candidate must have expertise with the design and maintenance of VMWare tools utilized to monitor and analyze the environment.(VRealize Operations Manager, VMWare LogInsight, Virtual Center Orchestrator, and VMTurbo specifically). The responsibilities for this role is classified business as usual BAU. Top skills: • Experience with Converged infrastructure (VCE vBlock, Hitachi UCP) • In depth knowledge of monitoring tools, concepts, protocols and languages. (SNMP, SSH, WinRM, Zenoss, Riverbed, Python) • Knowledge of VMWare best practices for capacity management. • Ability to document and train peers on the proper utilization of the VMWare tool set. • Dedicated and loyal to the team's objectives, willing to go the extra mile to ensure team success • Has ability to simplify complex concepts so that others can understand them. • Fundamentals with Linux (Redhat version 5-7) and Windows administration is a plus. • Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM and ServiceNow is a plus. • Experience working in a large enterprise environment and networks • Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus.
