Title-Pl/SQL Developer
Duration- Short Term (2 to 3 months)
MOI-F2F compulsory
Local Consultants preferred due to duration of the project
SUMMARY:
This position will have a primary focus on architecting and building data
driven applications using PL/SQL to load, manipulate, and present data.
(PERL )Solutran developers work closely with product managers, business
analysts and management; this provides the right person an opportunity to
not only build applications, but also have direct input into product
development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop data driven applications using PL/SQL and PERL.
Develop database stored procedures (Oracle)
SQL Performance Tuning
Participate in application and database design
Participate in Agile/SCRUM development process
Software testing/debugging
Off-hours support as needed
Other duties may be assigned
Primary Platforms / Technologies Used:
Perl, PL/SQL, ASP.Net, MVC.NET, C#, VB
Oracle RDBMS (10g/11g)
Microsoft SQL Server
Redhat Linux
Microsoft Windows (XP, 7, 2003/2008 Server)
Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Access)
Required:
7 +years experience overall.
Bachelors or Associate degree in computer science, or proven experiences as
a software developer.
2+ years of proven database development experience using PERL and PL/SQL
Database design, SQL, and stored procedure development
Proven experience participating in team software development projects
Proven analytical and communication skills
Preferred:
Banking / Financial industry knowledge
AGILE/SCRUM
Perl scripting experience preferred, but not required
This position involves end-user, application, and network support in a
Windows environment.
