*Position : BI Developer* *Location : Pittsburgh PA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : Phone and F2F* *JD: * *Core Responsibilities:* · Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of Genuine, Caring, Friendly. · Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and demonstrates an understanding of audience needs. · Through genuine and positive communication, makes each customer feel informed, understood, and special. · An effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments. · Is able to keep up in the MedExpress environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passion. · Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals. · Adheres to standards of business conduct and compliance. *POSITION REQUIREMENTS * *Qualifications:* · Proven experience with front-end reporting tools, preferably LogiAnalytics (formerly LogiXML) along with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), web application development, design, and implementation. · Understand, formulate and create MDX Queries to prepare data for presentation within the reporting tools. · Provide dashboard/reporting functionality and create key performance indicators, calculations, and metrics on web and mobile applications · Work in conjunction with offshore data architects/modelers on the backend data warehouse reporting solution running on SQL Server 2012 · Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems to the data warehouse covering a variety of technical scenarios encountered in the construction of complex data warehousing solutions, including T-SQL, SSIS, and other data manipulation tools within the Microsoft Suite of Products. · SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) design and build experience including multi-tier infrastructures, partitioning, aggregations, proactive caching, actions, role and data-level security. · Proven experience sourcing data from a variety of applications, creating OLAP models, and generating multi-dimensional cubes using SSAS · Prepare deliverables such as source to target mappings and transformation rules documentation · Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience as a technical BI Developer · Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering is preferred · Technically fluent with relational databases - SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012 · Experience with SAS business analytics software preferred *Working Relationships:* Will interact with all IT employees on a regular basis as well as other cross-functional team-members at the Administrative Offices and Centers. *Principal Duties and Responsibilities:* · Key contributor to Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Management Strategy including: Information Architecture, Data Architecture, Master Data Management Architecture, Metadata Architecture and Information Delivery Life Cycle (IDLC). · Participates in the creation and maintenance of Data Standards, Best Practices, Disciplines & Methods for Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Management & Data Governance (including Data Quality & Metadata) and Data Security (including PII). · Works with the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams to produce BI Solutions that meet business information requirements and objectives. · Participates in the implementation and enhancement of the Enterprise Business Glossary used to document Business Terms, Business Rules, etc. · Participates in Business Intelligence tool and evaluations, selections, implementation and support. · Implement changes to reporting, warehouse, MDX Queries, and other components of the BI path.
