*Role : Java Developer * *Location- Tallahassee, FL.* *Estimated Duration* *: 1 year with possible extension Mode: Phone then Onsite/Skype for Non Locals, Locals preferred* *Govt Experience must* *Remote or Onsite: *On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work. *Responsibilities *include but are not limited to the following: - Provide analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of Java (JEE) applications; - Provide mentoring and guidance to junior programmers and staff; - Research and document requirements of program users; - Research emerging technologies and leverage them where appropriate; - Work with customers, users, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions; - Work with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems; - Write, translate and code software programs and applications according to Client’s specifications. *Requirements:* - Experience in Java Frameworks such as Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate (5+ years); - Experience with XML, HTML and CSS (5+ years); - Experience with Oracle databases (including both DML and DDL) (3+ years); - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL (2+ years); - Experience with continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins; - Experience with Git; - Experience with Subversion, ContinuumMaven 2 and/or 3; - Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML); - Experience with database security, including role-based security; - Experience with Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM); - Experience with relational and object-oriented database designs; - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
