Email me at [email protected] , if you have right resource for below position *Position : Senior ETL Developer* *Location: NYC NY* *Duration: 12 plus Months (Long term contract)* *Interview Process: Telephone initially, On-site Interview Mandatory* *Must have experience with Teradata in recent projects.* *Detail Job Description:* • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with Teradata and its toolset • Expertise in best practices for Informatica based ETL design and development • Senior ETL , Teradata specialist with sound knowledge of Unix as well • Excellent SQL skills required • Sound working knowledge of Unix scripting, scheduling, FTP • Experience using ERWIN or any other data modeling tool. • Design data mapping from source systems to Datawarehouse • Document processes and mentor development staff through the software development lifecycle process • Work with business analysts and end users to define business rules and interpret data • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized • Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment. *Technical Skills:* • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) • Teradata database • Unix • Informatica • Exceedingly strong SQL querying experience • Stored Procedures • Knowledge of data warehouse data models • Experience with ETL techniques • Extensive data analysis and data quality experience Warm Regards, Sampath Arra (SAM) ACLAT, Inc.
