PROJECT/INITIATIVE: No specific project, will be working on ALL projects
assigned to the MAPS application. The candidate will be working with both
On/Off shore resources for numerous projects in an Agile development
process.

TOP REQUIREMENTS:
*• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Suite, HP ALM, Rally • Ability to
efficiently work as a lead an offshore QA team • Ability to work in a
group following AGILE development strategy o Must have a complete
understanding of all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SLDC)*
I am looking for one onshore QA to work with roughly 10 offshore resources
currently working on MAPS. This person will be able to support testing
during our day, allowing for more time to test. They will also be available
for any onshore restricted projects. The amount of work being funded this
year has gone up rather dramatically and we have increased our off-shore
staff so we need to also increase onshore staff to assist with the work
while maintaining appropriate onshore/offshore ratios.
Coordination of Quality Assurance offshore / onshore team efforts for the
assigned initiative
-Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions
that may differ from project to project
-Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the
Software Development Lifecycle
-Work with business partners, systems analyst, designers and programmers to
create/analyze required project documents and ensures that quality
assurance processes are incorporated
-Participate in analysis and design walkthroughs, as well as Scrum meetings
-Estimate quality assurance effort on approved projects
-Develop and implement efficient and effective testing strategy, test
conditions and test scripts for approved projects
-Manage towards results, by process, with facts and with continuous process
improvement in mind
-Work with others through coaching and mentoring to ensure tasks are
completed on time
-Work with project team to identify risks if quality assurance process is
not followed
-Coach, mentor and assist with testing as needed
-Work with process improvement teams to ensure effective process
improvements are implemented
-Ensure process improvements are documented and incorporated in the quality
assurance process
Requirements
Post graduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent
experience
*7+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience 7+ years of relational
database experience*
Quality Assurance Team Leadership experience
Experience with Quality Assurance testing tools
Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Assets
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Proficiency with MS Visio
Healthcare Industry experience
Positions in this function are involved in developing and implementing
efficient and effective test plans for new systems problems and/or
enhancements. Includes understanding of QA methodology, processes and
associated automated testing tools. - Company thought leader.
