Responsibilities
• Ensure that all business requirements are captured as user stories
and ensure that the technical /development resources understand the
business ‘ask’ and are able to build against it and ensure the final
product is built as requested.
• Support the product owner(s) in defining the overall user
experience and engage appropriate technical team(s), UIX design team and
business group(s) to elicit, interpret, analyze and validate requirements
for new functionality being requested by business groups and generate the
system requirements in user story format for technical team(s).
• Work in collaboration with Product Owners with creation of
stories, feature decomposition, documentation and managing dependencies,
and story templates for repeatable features.
• Work with Product Owner to drive team to 3 sprints of groomed
stories.
• Support the Product Owner on the health of the backlog, execute
continuous requirements elicitation, story level grooming activities and
ensure stories meet the definition of “ready”.
• Transform business requirements into technical, or system
requirements to be documented as supporting artifacts in stories to be
built and delivered by the team.
• Resolve requirement related impediments affecting the team’s
progress.
• Facilitate pre-grooming and grooming sessions, as required, to
ensure scope and the definition of successful completion for the project is
understood by the team.

Overall Job Purpose
Business Analysts gather and document requirements and/or write epics and
user stories for PCD approved projects. Serves as a key member of an agile
scrum team and participates in the creation of industry-leading Apps for
various mobile and web and Java platforms. Solves organizational
information problems and requirements by analyzing features and stories;
designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols
within an Agile / Scrum methodology
Key Job Accountabilities
• Stakeholder Management and SME:
o Work as a liaison among project stakeholders to elicit, analyze,
communicate and validate features for new functionality. Serves as the SME
for business and functional domain knowledge within the PCD verticals.
• Project Initiation
o Supports the PM in the creation of the project charter to ensure
scope and feature groups are clearly identified and defined.
• Feature & Story Grooming
o Create, groom and maintain the project feature and story backlog
in addition to any changes to those requirements.
o Participates in Progressive Elaboration sessions to groom and
document features and stories.
o Create feature and story backlogs that are clear and
straightforward.
o Use of diagrams, tables, mock-ups and other methods to ensure
features and stories are presented without ambiguity when designing the
solution.
• Story Design
o Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements;
constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities;
writing specifications.

Basic Qualifications (minimum requirements to qualify for this job – must
haves)
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the below areas:
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Experience in banking industry
• Ability to understand, analyze & document complex processes,
features and stories
• Ability to document software design
• Knowledge of software development processes
• Knowledge of software maintenance process
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities
• Java, C
• Familiarity with Scrum techniques and Agile methodology
Preferred Qualifications
