*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
*OBJECTIVE*
Seeking one (1) Crystal Report Developer Consultant to assist with the
development, modification, and deployment of custom Crystal Reports.
*BACKGROUND*
Client is in the process of replacing its legacy plan check tracking and
permitting system with a new system. The new system is based on Tyler
Technology's mobile-enabled and Geographic Information System-based (GIS)
software which uses Crystal Reports as its main reporting tool. Client is
seeking the assistance of outside resources to help in the development of
new reports. The consultant will also help in the modification of existing
reports.
*DUTIES*
· Gather and document report requirements from business users.
· Design, develop, implement, document and maintain a report based
on the report requirements.
· Modify existing reports based on business requirements.
· Work with staff to ensure that the new and modified reports meet
minimum performance specifications.
· Provide recommendations for report format and performance
optimization while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
· Write functions, stored procedures, and queries in Transact-SQL.
· Provide guidance to staff for Crystal Report solutions.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
· *Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years
analyzing, designing, developing and implementing Crystal Reports. *
· *Four (4) years of programming and development experience within
the last five (5) years that includes all of the following:*
o *T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.*
o *Crystal reports.*
o *SQL Server databases.*
o *Relational databases.*
o *Microsoft Operating system.*
