I am Ayesha Siddiqua from CoCo Soft Inc Please find the below job description and send me available candidate profiles Please share profiles to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Job Title :BIG DATA - Hadoop – Administrator * *Location NJ* *Duration : 6-12 months contract * *Job Description : * *Technical Skills: * - Experience in Installing, configuring and tuning Hadoop distributions - Understanding of Hadoop design principals and factors that affect distributed system performance, including hardware and network considerations - Perform *Cluster maintenance tasks* - Create and removal of nodes, cluster monitoring and troubleshooting - Manage and review Hadoop log files - Should have *Conceptual/working knowledge of basic data management concepts like ETL, Ref/Master data, Data quality, RDBMS* - Working knowledge of any scripting language like *Shell, Python, Perl* - Hadoop cluster monitoring tools such as *Ambari/cloudera manager* *Skills* Candidate Roles and Responsibilities 1. Troubleshoot Hive issues. 2. Troubleshoot Solr issue. 3. Install / Uninstall Hadoop components and services. 4. Monitoring the state of Hadoop cluster through monitoring tools and Ambari Alerts. 5. Daemon status monitoring and file system monitoring (local and HDFS) 6. Monitoring of Hadoop Jobs through Resource Manager UI. 7. Restrict and maintain local and HDFS file system usage. 8. Recovering from Namenode failures. 9. Planning and estimating cluster capacity to support future expansion plans. 10. Starting and Stopping Hadoop Daemons. 11. Supporting Hadoop Ecosystem tools such as Flume, Sqoop, Kafka, Hue, Hive, Hbase, Apache NIFI, Notebook tools like Beaker Notebook and Zeppeline. 12. Commissioning and Decoomissioning of cluster nodes. 13. Securing the Authentication and authorization of the cluster through Kerberos. 14. Implement Yarn job queues using Capacity scheduler. *Process Skills: * - Must understand ITIL processes. *Behavioral Skills*: - Should be a good communicator - Must be able to multi task. - Must be able to pick new technologies quickly. - Should be able to work individually as well as in a team. *Qualification:* - E / B.Tech in any discipline or BCA. - Certification of any major Hadoop distribution will be an added advantage.
