*Role : Java Developer* *Location: Seattle Washington* *Duration: 12 Month contract!* *Interview: Phone then F2F* *JD:* *Top things!* *Strong in Java, Spring and Back end!!!!* General Responsibilities: Design, develop, debug, and modifies components of software applications and tools. Help drive technical direction at the application/product level for small to mid-sized projects. Design, spec, schedule and provide quality implementation of a component or feature. Provide alternative solutions to a given problem. Resolve problems and roadblocks, with management assistance if required. Follow through on details and drive issues to closure. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique work of self and others. Work collaboratively with all members of technical staff. Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components. Participates in and provides input to requirements definition. Usually provides solid judgment calls and tradeoff analysis. Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements, system components and new products. Find creative, tractable new ways to improve coding standards. Independently understand scheduling, cost constraints, and impact to other teams; make design and/or implementation trade-offs based on those factors. Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur, and present technical issues and their impact to management. Effectively build and maintain a network of key contacts across company, and leverages these contacts to achieve results. The candidate must be good in Java, Spring MVC, worked on UI and has good experience with pure Javascript, CSS, HTML5. The candidate needs to have worked on a web app, ideally on an transactional E-commerce product that is used by external users. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, and usability.
