*Qualifications:*
Hadoop Administrator The ideal candidate will be required to have a deep
understanding of Big Data technology. The candidate should have
demonstrated experience as a technical leader with strong acumen in
architecture, design, development, testing, and administration of Hadoop
based solutions. The candidate will need to be capable of documenting and
advising on best practices/guidelines, governance, and make recommendations
for future state architecture and eco-systems.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
• Extensive experience in BI. data warehousing, analytics, and Big Data
• Strong communication and influencing skills (oral, written, listening,
interactions with senior leadership)
• Ability to work independently and work within/outside the team to get
things done
• 3 to 4 years of experience in administration of On-premise Hadoop and
its related ecosystems such as MapReduce (MRVx, YARN), Pig, Hive, Sqoop,
Zookeeper, Oozie, Kafka, Hcatalog, Spark, Python etc.
• Hands on experience with data analytics tools such as Splunk, Cognos,
Tableau etc.
• Data Governance, Security & Operations experience
• Being on-call for off hours support (evenings and/or weekends)
