*POSITION SUMMARY*
The Sr. Active Directory Engineer provides support, implementation, and
design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems
across the enterprise, including directory and identity management
solutions. Core technology duties also include architecture creation and
management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level
support for enterprise-wide initiatives, and assisting in RCA (Root Cause
Analysis)
This role requires an in depth knowledge of Active directory, Federation
(AD FS), Windows Server 2012/2012 R2, Windows security, AD Proxy, MIM,
Azure AD, Virtual Directory solutions and related technology.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Produce enterprise-level design for Active Directory, Identity
Management, and Windows File Services for global initiatives following
those through to implementation via collaboration with project and Back
Office support teams.
- Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service
delivery where possible
- Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity
Management environment
- Serves as escalation point for application support and
troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated
issues and/or complex production, application and system problems.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and
availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes,
reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of
scheduled jobs.
- Define and Maintain KPIS for Active directory and Identity Management
related items to identify trends and define actions.
- Follow the Change Manage Process for any improvement or implementation
- Install, configure, and maintain Active directory and third party
utilities for systems within company operational guidelines
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies,
including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps
- Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and
enhancements to existing solutions and documentation
- Provide training as required
- Participates in post implementation reviews
- Participates on department project teams and forums
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*
Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information
technologies, computer related discipline or related experience (5+) in
lieu of a degree.
Previous Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IT work in a global information technology
infrastructure environment
- Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory and GPOs
- Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Servers 2012, Windows
Server 2012 R2
- Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS in a windows 2012 landscape
Certifications: Microsoft Vendor certifications (MCSE0 or similar
Travel Requirements: Domestic and International as required
On Call Requirements: Accommodate for global meetings
Software: Microsoft OS 2012 R2, Microsoft Desktop IS Win 7 and Win 10,
Microsoft Office Suite
Psychical Requirements: Office position – primarily sedentary. Mus be able
