Looking for a Senior Database Developer to support the Data Management
Services Department with the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative
project.
The Transforming Clinical Practices Initiative project provides funding
from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to regional organizations
that help provide technical assistance support to healthcare clinicians to
improve quality of care, increase patients’ access to information, and
spend healthcare dollars more wisely.
*Specific goals for the contract resulting from this RFQ include:*
· Assist with the design and development of data marts, data collection
procedures, data export procedures, data quality assessment processes, data
cleansing, and backend processes to support descriptive and analytical
reporting.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- *Statistical analysis and R programming skills*
*Required Qualifications:*
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree
· 8 or more years experience with the design and development of relational
databases, data import and export processes (ETL), data cleansing and data
analysis
· Excellent SQL skills, preferably with SQL Server
· Understanding of health care data (subject matter knowledge)
· Proficient in Excel and VBA
· Good verbal and written communication skills
