Seeking a JavaScript Web Application Developer with expertise with client
and service NodeJS technology. This individual will assist our staff
developers in extending and modifying existing applications.
The candidate(s) will:
- Under the direction of a lead analyst, modify, document, implement and
test JavaScript applications to adapt to the scientific data models.
- Where possible, modify and implement new JavaScript page applications
to facilitate user interactions with their data.
- Work with system owners during testing.
- Participate in group discussions with key players.
*Qualifications:*
- JavaScript experience required
- NodeJS and ECMA script experience required
- Experience with Single Page Applications
- HTML and CSS experience required
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as D3, cytoscape or
dojo.gfx is preferred
- Apache-SOLR experience preferred
- Proficient working in a Unix system environment
