This opportunity will begin as a 6-month contract with opportunity for extension based on technical acumen. Our client is looking for a Senior-level Tester to join a team of developers to assist with the execution of automation testing. *Requirements:* - 1 year experience as a Tester in Agile Team - 2 years’ experience in JIRA or Confluence - 2 years’ experience in GUI test execution and validation - Rational Functional Tester is a plus - Cucumber or selenium would be a plus - 2 years’ experience in back end testing writing and executing SQL queries - 2 years’ experience in test execution/validations using Teradata - 1-2 years’ experience in test execution/validations using Hadoop - Agile testers must have primary skills in automating test cases, test-driven development, acceptance test-driven development, and manual testing. - Attributes include - Great interpersonal skills with clarity in expression. Result oriented and positive attitude. Go getter, get it done attitude. Make test results visible to make a collective decision. Understanding of user stories and their acceptance criteria.
