*Cisco Video Engineer*
Skill set is knowledge of Cisco TelePresence infrastructure including call
manager, TelePresenc server, TMS and VCS control and expressway. Role is
an operation role support end-users. This is the HQ location so skill sets
and communication skills with all stakeholders is key. The environment is
up and running this is a “run” phase role. Seeking someone with
operational experience who can assist with supporting staff at meetings.
Candidate will need configuration skills and perform trouble shooting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent
experience).
- Expert knowledge of Cisco VoIP networking equipment and software -
Cisco CCNP or equivalent - with a minimum 7 years’ experience administering
enterprise VoIP networks in mission-critical, 7x24 production environments.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common
application protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in
complex systems and network environments.
- Experience supporting IP-based voice recording system with expert
knowledge of call recording system in a Cisco UCM environment.
- Experience deploying and managing SNMP-based network monitoring tools.
- Experience with Active Directory and LDAP authentication systems.
- Experience with Cisco Telepresence
- Familiarity with Security appliances and devices/services such as IDP,
Websense proxy, nCircle, WAF etc.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills.
