*WebSphere Application Server (WAS) / Performance Specialist* *Location: Buffalo, NY* *# of Positions: 2 Contract* *Duration: Through 11/30 initially (end of fiscal year, then will get extended by Sept/Oct 2017 for 2018)* *Responsibilities: * · Investigate and determine root cause analysis of performance issues, using APM tools, EUM tools, DB profiling tools, code analysis. Driving remedial actions where appropriate. · Identification and implementation of appropriate load models for test scenarios & construction of appropriate test strategy · Develop sound methodologies for accurate performance comparisons · Recommend architectural changes to address performance risks. · Proactively identify ways to improve system performance via code, configuration, tuning and architectural changes · Reviewing design documentation, highlighting any performance concerns or risks and working with architects and engineers to determine the best way to resolve or mitigate · Recommend / implement code fixes to improve performance · Develop features and solutions to improve performance and scalability · Develop performance diagnostics tools · Performance profiling, tuning · Participate in scalability analysis and capacity planning activities · Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack *Skills: * · Strong knowledge of enterprise wide technologies, including databases and web servers · Experience in optimizing enterprise-class software · Demonstrated programming and analytical skills · Knowledge of TCP/IP · Experience working with HP LoadRunner · Familiar with software scalability · JVM monitoring and tuning · Linux performance monitoring · CDNs – (delivers content to network) · Knowledge of client-side performance factors and key metrics *Required:* · *5 to 10 years of experience in UNIX infrastructure.* · Expert level knowledge of UNIX (AIX/Solaris/Linux) – *need to have experience with all three* · Expert level knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server and Veritas Netbackup Client - *Required* · Strong knowledge of host based SAN & NAS migrations · Very good understanding of SAN configuration EMC/Hitachi LUNs on UNIX (AIX/Solaris/Linux) servers - *Required* · Must have WebSphere application server experience – working on that platform *Anuj Rai* *Sr. Recruitment Manager* *Zenith tech Solutions* *Desk: 518-621-0048Fax: 518-244-49773 park Hill* *Albany, NY 12204* *Email Id:- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Gmail:- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Website:- www.zenithtechsolutions.com <http://www.zenithtechsolutions.com/>*
