Job Role: Big Data Architect - Location :Alpharetta, GA Job Duration: Long Term • 12+ years of related Information Technology experience. • 3+ Hands-on years’ experience working with Big Data/Hadoop Architecture • Experience in building and maintaining Hadoop cluster in a multi-tenant environment • Preferable work experience with IBM BigInsights / Hortonworks Hadoop distributions. • Proficient with HDFS, MR2, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Oozie, BigSQL, Kafka and SQL. • Hands-on experience with "productionazing" Hadoop applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning) • In depth experience working on Azure cloud computing Infrastructure. • Experience with any of the following technologies (or similar) would be considered a plus: • NoSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Tableau, Spark, Python, R, SPSS, SAS • Deep knowledge of search engines like Apache Lucene and Solr/Elasticsearch • Knowledge in data structures, modeling standards and machine learning frameworks is a plus. • Working experience with .Net, Web API, AngularJS either web application or backend systems development • Working experience on Linux scripting and Windows power shell scripting • Knowledge of any of Object oriented programming, Scripting languages is mandatory. • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment. Excellent written, verbal, and documentation skills required.
