Job Title: UI Developer
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 6 Month Contract + Extensions
Compensation: *$52/HR CTC*
*Short Description: *The front end developer is responsible for making our
applications look great. We are looking for a developer who is motivated to
combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Ideal candidate is a developer with a demonstrated progression in
standards-compliant front end web development. Candidate should have an
understanding of the agile development process. Candidate should also have
proven experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a solid understanding of
front end development best practices.
*Responsibilities:*
· You will implement features and user interfaces using
technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript into existing and new web
applications.
· Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive
complex web applications
· You will collaborate in project planning sessions with project
managers, business analysts and team members to analyze requirements,
ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and deliver compelling
user-facing products
· Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
· Optimize for performance across desktop and mobile environments
· Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and ensure
that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications;
identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and
provide feedback to the final user documentation.
*QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: *
· 5+ years in Front End Development experience
· HTML/CSS Experience, including concepts like layout, specificity,
cross browser compatibility and accessibility
· Knowledge of CSS Preprocessors (SCSS/SASS)
· Understanding of JavaScript frameworks and libraries (jQuery,
AngularJS, ReactJS)
· Experience using Bootstrap is required.
· Experience using Gulp is preferred.
· Experience in testing and optimizing front end performance is
preferred.
· Understanding of code versioning tools (GIT or SVN)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
