The question was asked in the microsoft.public.shared_source.cli newsgroup. It was answered that it was in fact missing in the tarball, but that you can find almost the same content in this article : http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/dotnet/2002/03/27/archtour.html The missing doc should appear in a future release, IIRC.
