It just seemed too disjointed for me. Also I'm not a fan of books that are
full of code fragments or books with lots of different authors.

To be honest I haven't seen this book since the Beta 2 version of the book
last July. I've met and talked with both Homer and Sussman prior to the
book's release. Both are very knowledgeable and likeable guys. I just wasn't
impressed with the book. I do want to take a look at the new version that
covers the released .NET.

I've looked at some other WROX books lately and it just seems like they were
trying to be the first to market and the quality (i.e. how well it covered
the things I was dealing with etc) wasn't there. Maybe things will settle
down now that .NET os out of Beta.

Lately I have been favoring books by Sams (ASP.NET Unleashed is awesome - in
fact I'm going to read the ADO.NET sections this evening) and the O'Reilly
books which are always good.

This is just my opinion and I have a lot of other opinions that probably
only matter to me.
