A little bit OT perhaps, but here goes.

The tricky bit is getting XDE to open the framework models in the first
place (if you're starting with a blank XDE model and no source code).
One method I've used is to add a new C# project to your solution which
uses a class from the DLL you want and then reverse engineer it. This
opens the framework model(s) in the model explorer, so you can drag the
classes you need onto your diagrams to add associations.

There is a second, much better method, which I can't remember right now
:)

Subject: Getting Rational XDE to "show" BCL classes?

Related to the stuff below, I am doing some modeling and design of some
.NET classes related to serialization. I know there was some Rational
XDE discussions earlier on the list. If I define a class that implements
ISerializable and uses things like System.Xml.Serialization, how do I
get the Microsoft classes to appear on the class diagram? Thanks.
