Chris I thought about writing an add-in for this but it never progressed beyond the planning stages. Here's a few more that I thought of.
-Toolbox: Code scraps, HTML fragments, sort setting, custom controls added to toolbox. -Server Explorer: Data connections -Custom Menus: -Add-ins: -View/Open with: preserve the custom apps that I open my files with. -Tools/Options: It seems that nearly every setting in this dialog would appeal to individual developers. Below are some that I've used. I'm sure other developers would have their own personal favorites! -Visual Studio project folder: If different from default -Build and Run options -Line numbers and Word wrap Walt Ritscher -----Original Message----- From: dotnet discussion [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Chris Sells Sent: Friday, April 26, 2002 5:16 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [DOTNET] VS.NET settings worth keeping? If I were to write an add-in/utility for exporting and importing VS.NET settings, which settings would I want to export/import? I can think of the following: -Window size, position, pin, dock settings. -Keyboard settings. -External tools. -Macros. -Fonts and Colors. -Code formatting options. -External/Internal help and filter options. Anything else? Anyone done any of this work yet?
