COM+ deployment can be an unpleasant experience at times. To understand it fully, I 
would recommend MSDN [1]. MSDN provides a number of excellent articles/whitepapers on 
various COM+-related "issues". I would also recommend reading the following books:

        Transactional COM+
        Tim Ewald
        ISBN: 0201615940

        C# COM+ Programming
        Derek Beyer
        ISBN: 0764548352

        COM and .NET Component Services
        Juval Löwy
        ISBN: 0596001037

FWIW, "Transactional COM+" (Tim Ewald) is the best COM+ I have ever read.

If you are developing components that target COM+ (AKA, Enterprise Services) in 
VB.NET/C#, then learn the System.EnterpriseServices namespace as well as how to use 
the .NET Services Installation Tool (RegSvcs.exe).
