The only book I've ever read on use case that made any sense, and is
IMHO the best work to date on the subject is Alistair Cockburn's
"Writing Effective Use Cases". I don't want to start a religious war
here, but before you look at other books, at least read the chapter in
this book about UML use case diagrams.
