[DOTNET] "COM" Components in .NET frame work

Hi all,
        I want to know weather we can use "com" components in .NET frame
work.I am using  "MSFlexGrid" in  MDI childform. when I am loading  that
form with "MSFlexGrid" object it create two forms(one of them is inactive)
but when I remove  MSFlexGrid object it create only one form. What is the
reason for that ?
