Ok, my vs.net professional demo expired a couple of days ago and I am about 7 days away from having my MSDN universal up and running and I am having some issues with vs.net. I am trying to keep it running as long as I can to avoid the inevitable! :-D
Ok, now when I edit a C# source file the syntax highlighting immediately disappears as soon as I type. Not only that, but pressing F1 while on a keyword now just shows me Code and Text editor help. Anyone seen this? Could part of VS.net timeout and quit working while the main editor still runs? Also, I have noticed that while the compiler still runs, debugging still works, etc sometimes it appears the compiler and editor are out of sync. I'll get an error like ';' missing, put the semi in, save, compile, and same error in same location. Closing and reopening solution always fixes that but then it does it again. All this started happening when the expiration date passed. I would expect it to completely stop working instead of only partially. Any thoughts?
