Hi Richard Could you please suggest what are the guidelines to decide User control
I mean How should we decide that a particular functionality should be a User control rather than an .aspx page Are there any performance issues if we are using too many User controls? We then have a number of user controls that we load into the ASPX page. We looked at the IBuySpy Portal project and liked the flexibility that it allowed us. Each user control has a particular function, for instance we have a user control that performs a customer search, one that displays a list of a customers accounts etc. With the optional caching of the individual user controls and the extra caching of settings we have been really impressed with the performance. If you want any more information please feel free to drop me an email.
