Hi all, We have a class that has a one-to-one mapping with columns in a database (a dataset) so for each property of the class we simply write the data to the enclosed dataset. However to create an empty dataset we're thinking of what we do with ADO i.e. we simply query the database to get the column structure. Is it feasable rather than quering the database create the dataset from a schema? can we then use column mappings in case the database changes or should we be using database views for that?
I could store the XML schema and load it when a new class is created rather than one that already exists. Any ideas'.
