What is the concept behind OS reducing the memory utilization when the Windows Forms application is minimized..? When it is restored again it doesn't really consume what it had while loading/startup. Same thing is noticed for all OS related windows applications. How come this is related with GC?
The same behavior is observed when MSN messenger is closed, It first minimizes and then follows the close event to reduce the memory utilization... Can this observation be true for non windows applications..? thanks, koneti You can read messages from the DOTNET archive, unsubscribe from DOTNET, or subscribe to other DevelopMentor lists at http://discuss.develop.com.
