On NT4 and 2000, we register a component that runs as a Service on a SUBST'ed drive. We have the service setup to run as a particular identity and have a batch file in the user profiles (in the startup group) to setup the SUBST'ed drive. This does not work undex XP (it seems that no user profile gets loaded and we get and an error -- path not found) . Anyone have any ideas?
