If it's not in the FontFamily list of families then you can't use it. As far as I know this means it will cover all the fonts in the fonts folder. (Although I'm not sure about the ancient font formats - the strange plotter-like fonts and the non-scalable ones. I also don't care...) The interesting question is going to be "What fonts are available for me to use?" The contents of the font folder are an irrelevant implementation detail, surely?
