A little deployment package I've been debugging looks to keep growing
each time I uninstall and reinstall it.

I create the package on my machine. The /Release directory contains
3.5MB of data (all the little MSI installer stuff it puts there, etc...)
of data.

I copy that to Machine B and install.

I make a new version, and /Release is still 3.5MB, I uninstall from
machine B and install the new package. The new package when looked at
through the add-remove programs menu has increased in size by about
200K.

Rinse, wash and repeat.

After more iterations, my Add/Remove programs now tells me my package is
1.55MB. If I look at the directory it installed to there is only 116kB
of data in the install directory.

Is this just being mis-reported, or is this actually growing? Where is
the additional space going if so? Will it keep growing the more you
uninstall and reinstall? Just trying to understand what is happening
here. Thanks.
