Yes, I turned it off, and that solved the problem, but IMO that's an
unacceptable solution. If you switch to design view and a style is defined
that's not available it should flag it as an error, but not just vanish it.

In fact *that* would be a handy behavior - put your styles in the tags,
then build your style sheet, switch to design view and back and see which
ones you missed.

Maybe two options: "Validate HTML" and "Auto-correct HTML", because in my
experience the two are completely different concepts.
