Have you enabled mixed mode authentication on for SQL Server? Right-click on the server node in the tree, choose properties, then the security tab. Change from Windows Authentication to Mixed Mode Authentication (sorry if the verbage is off, don't have SQL Server on this machine).

My hosting site requires that I NOT use the ASPNET user for my database access.
