Does anyone know how to retrieve a user's group information with LDAP and VB.NET? I have a series of "sub-groups" that will contain a few of our users. I need to determine if a given user (at login time) is a member of one of those sub-groups, and return the name of the sub-group (or groups) that he/she is a member of. I have found how to set the SearchRoot property to specify the node within the AD heirarchy to begin my search but I haven't found any way to retrieve a list of all groups that a given user is a member of. Any ideas?
