*Role: Sr. Network Engineer*

*Location: MEMPHIS, TN 38115- must be local for** in-person interviews*

*Duration: 6 months*

*Position Purpose:*

This position is responsible for the designing, planning, installation,
configuration and maintenance of the network infrastructure.

The position is at times expected to provide technical leadership to
operations groups as required for critical incidents and problems.

Additionally, the position will evaluate network designs to identify and
resolve design issues and enforce standards.

Performs all other duties as assigned by manager.

Implements and performs according to established standards.

*Essential duties and Responsibilities:*

   - Assist in the support of all networking technologies. This includes
   LAN/WAN, voice, video, security – 20%
   - Responsible for working with customers and vendors on making sound
   judgments, prioritizing and resolving issues in an appropriate and timely
   manner –20%
   - Assist network and/or server administrators, desktop support and end
   users with resolving problems and restoring the system back to a working
   configuration. Provide the necessary written instructions or revised
   documentation for problem resolutions. – 10%
   - Evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations for new standards
   – 10%
   - Provide daily verbal or e-mail updates of issues that may affect
   project target dates – 10%
   - Provide a weekly written status of current projects and critical
   issues – 10%
   - Responsible for all cabling, patch panels and rack infrastructure
   design and management in data rooms throughout the organization – 10%

*Other duties and Responsibilities:*

   - Resolve internal and external partner network issues through design,
   troubleshooting, research, configuration and implementation while following
   best practices and applicable policies and procedures
   - Assist clients in developing firewall rules and inbound/outbound ACLs
   - Maintain data centers, wiring closets, cabling, servers, consoles,
   switches, routers, etc
   - Monitor network and systems health, responding appropriately to
   network alerts and events
   - Responsible for technical oversight of moves, adds and changes in the
   client network environment
   - Formulate, design, and implement short- and long-term plans within a
   global environment to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and
   future requirements
   - Adhere to Change Control, Change Log, and Downtime Log procedures for
   all critical services
   - Performs other duties as directed


   - Must have 8+ years experience networking experience in Enterprise
   network design, implementation, maintenance and administration experience.
   - Must be able to quickly diagnose network problems and implement
   solutions to maintain uninterrupted network service.
   - Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work
   with people and cross-functional teams.
   - Must be adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment
   that requires managing multiple projects and balancing multiple priorities.
   - Understanding and implementation experience of wireless technologies
   - In-depth understanding of network security including IDS, IPS, ACL’s,


   - BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related
   field, or equivalent work experience
   - Cisco CCNA and/ or CCNP certifications preferred
