Hello,

I am currently working on a project which requires the ability to log
access events by users upon other users mailbox folders (i.e. inbox,
callender etc) within Exchange 2003. These event logs will then be
used for audit trails.

I understand that by default exchange provides audit logging that will
alert you as to when a user logs onto another users mailbox (event
1016) but it is not detailed enough to include the specific mailbox
folder that was accessed.

I am threfore trying to understand whether such functionlity can be
developed using the Exchange SDK as a custom event handler which I
could then install on the required exchange 2003 server, logging each
appropriatte event to the windows event log.

As a complete newcommer to the Exchange SDK, could somebody please
inform me as to whether this is possible through the SDK?

Many thanks in advance,

Phil
