Just for the record... Im a woman. A 30 year old, mother of one, continuing her education. Why is it everyone assumes Im male?
and also, I do enjoy programming or I wouldnt be doing it. I've had nothing less than a 4.0 for the last three years. And in my current job I develop websites and manage a drawing database (not alone) for one of the worlds largest oil, asphalt, and petroleum companies. I didnt come here wanting to "cheat" and have my assignment done for me. I did search many sites Google listed before coming here for examples, or ideas. I simply wanted some guidance from peers because I've found with programming that there is more than one way to write script. Sometimes people are excited to offer help, sometimes they arent. And in this case if you all will look....there was nothing posted to help me with my original question. I think it was unfair of Glenn to jump on me without knowing anything about me or the path I had taken to this forum. I agree, you can find a lot on google, but sometimes not always what you need. So if everyone could cool their engines and stop arguing, we might be able to help each other. After all Im sure that is what this forums intention was. It seems though, that it was lost along the way. I've looked through tons of posts on here and almost inevitably a war of words breaks out. Its childish and idiotic. If you can help the poster, then offer your help. But if you cant, or wont, or simply dont want to... then why bother responding?
