You can export a single table to a flat file, MS Excel or MS Access and use
that to restore. There are also 3rd party products you can purchase to give
you more control over backups and backup single tables.

The backup in SQL Server 2005 doesn't give you the ability to directly
backup just a table. However, you can put a table in its own file group and
then do a file group back.
