@asit Why dont somebody tell the truth ? :) It is a sample database , ofcourse a standard,highly appreciated design, one shipped with many db applications (i found from MS products). There are altered versions exist from those mad with northwind!! (adding new database features). Many developers like this as this was a starting point of many of their experiments. SQL server maynot required this but many sample applications from microsoft use this database. Also keeping this would not require a large space. Then why do you doubt to keep a db which is widly liked and accepted ??
