Hi I'm using a FileStream to open a file for reading and writing. Another process at any time can try to use a FileStream to open the same file. I wish to prevent the IO.IOException that would occur if both processes tried to open the file at the same time. I'm thinking of catching the IO.IOException and retrying for a specified number of times.
Is this the best method? Or is there another, more elegant way? Cheers Jaimo
