I haven't yet tried what you suggested but it's a great idea and I think I may just do what you suggested. What Kaarthik discusses below is exactly what I was talking about but I he's right that it's way too complicated. I've been trying to figure what band objects are and how to implement them or one of them. I've even found a couple of examples that should make it very easy. Possibly because I have such a limited experience with VC++ and with Visual Studio that it's difficult to get those band objects implemented. Your idea is especially appealing considering that I could get it done in a fraction of the time it would take do something with those band objects. Thanks again!!
