Steve... let's not argue endlessly about something so insignificant.
Nowhere in your post or your thread title did you mention an
application type - ASP.NET/Webforms or Windows apps. Saying ".NET C#"
tells us next to nothing in this context. The terms Dropdownlist and
Comboboxes are often used interchangeably and it is common for readers
to confuse them. I've seen a hell load of questions where the poster
calls them DropDownlists and is in fact referring to the Windows
ComboBox.

As the question asker, it is completely your own responsibilty to make
your question as unambiguous as possible. And it is quite evident that
your question was ambiguous by the fact that Brandon had to
specifically ask you about the application type.

If you still feel the need to argue about this, please count me out.
