Summary: We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Principal Software Engineer to join this small and talented team who will extend the content analysis and classification capabilities of the DLP product. This engineer will work with an industry-leading knowledge engineering team to deliver solutions that discovers sensitive data and protects the data from moving out of the enterprise by designing and developing sophisticated content analysis applications, scalable to meet the needs of the largest enterprises Responsibilities: • Design and implement cutting edge lexical analysis solutions based on market requirements for the DLP Suite of products. • Write functional and technical specifications. • Solve problems reported by external and OEM customers. • Perform design, code, and unit-test reviews. Skills Required • 5+ years of software development experience in building network applications using C# or C++ on Windows platform • Experience with C# and .NET web services • Experience with .NET, RPC based remote communication and multi- threading • Creative problem solving skills and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of object oriented languages and design principles • Development of multi-tiered Architectures Desired Skills • Prior use of BOOST or similar libraries • Experience with SQL database • Experience with the entire product life cycle from inception to general availability • Unix or Linux experience Education: • MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience EMC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
