Hey Jason,
           Suppose , deep down ,you don't like programming then there
is no need  to try hard to get a decent job in programming
field.Introspect your self and list the things
(eg:music,painting,dancing,film direction,teaching) ,you love to
do.Take a pen and paper , list down  the things u love(d) to do since
your childhood.Then make a choice out of those things.Then you will
surely have a happy life.IMHO,the purpose of life is to have fun.
