Simple: Read a lot about .NET (books, ebooks, on-line references,
etc.).
Once you are acquainted with its intricacies, you can optionally test
your aptitude
by taking some tests on-line (e.g. Brainbench).

If you feel you are confident that you can take on a real project,
then start
looking for a job that requires the use of .NET.

Good luck!
